{surrender to the journey}: Top picks and Spotlight artist

I have truly enjoyed monitoring the Journey to Artist page this month. I have been inspired by the words and the images that each photographer has shared. I hope you paused a little to surrender to your journey and bask in the light of where you are today. Without further ado, here are the top picks.

Spotlight Artist: This week I couldnt pick just one artist to shine the spotlight on. So I am picking two. I have included their words as well. I love the sentiment as much as the image.

Sarah Boccolucci Photography + Birth Services:  I am surrendering to the fact that our breastfeeding relationship came to an end much faster than I had anticipated. What I wanted to be a nursing portrait turned into a portrait of a new relationship.

Yesterday I decided to surrender my normal editing process I loved so much already and give "Looks like Film" VSCO Films editing style, this photo also surrenders to the "perfect framing" because her feet are cut off, and "perfect lighting" with a sun flare going over her face a bit", but I just had to let that go and love the imperfectness of the Beauty of this girl in her element enjoying her Sr. Shoot! At last I fell in love with the imperfectness of all 3 things and surrendered to them!If it is not to late to submit for the Surrender {to the Journey} Yesterday I decided to surrender my normal editing process I loved so much already and give "Looks like Film" VSCO Films editing style, this photo also surrenders to the "perfect framing" because her feet are cut off, and "perfect lighting" with a sun flare going over her face a bit", but I just had to let that go and love the imperfectness of the Beauty of this girl in her element enjoying her Sr. Shoot!
