Light! We love light as photographers and plan our days around shooting during the golden hour. Yet, our little ones don't always like playing when we want to play. Embracing the harsh midday light is a must as you grow as a photographer, especially if you want to keep your family happy. This is what Juanita of Little Forest Photography had to say about her images:
These are my two toddlers. They love water. If there is water, they will get wet. Totally wet. They love splashing and when it rains this little stream breaks through to the ocean, making it a perfect and safe place to play. Sand, water and a dream location for a mummy photographer. This session took place in the middle of the day. The sun was harsh, but I am starting to love this kind of light. Its during these hours that they are crazy and active, and I love to capture them during these crazy play.
Business: Little Forest Photography
Location: South West Rocks, NSW
Camera Settings: ISO 100, F2.2 and the shutter speed changed for how the light changed, but mostly the fastest shutter speed of the camera. For my camera it is 1/8000. Most of the photos are between 1/6400 to 1/8000 just because it was really bright
